HAMILTON CITY CLOSURES, RESURFACING AND SHARROWS
Our night-shift teams braved the cold through June 2022 to run large closures across Hamilton, including River Road so Downer could resurface the asphalt and install sharrows on the Fairfield bridge.
Sharrows, or share arrows, show people on bikes where it is safest to ride. The works ran with full road-user exclusion and detours, while traffic controllers guided pedestrians safely along the footpaths. Another successful night operation.
